REFApps

Do REFApps apps require an account?: No. All our apps work without sign-up. Your data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to sync (where offered).
Do the apps work offline?: Yes. Brick Calculator Plus, Coffee Brew Pro, WellWash, FieldStart, HangShock, Tape Ledger, and Tabletop Rig work fully offline after installation. Twin Convert works offline for units and a cached currency table; Settings → Refresh needs a network.
How does advertising work?: Some older utilities may show banner ads in safe moments, removable with a one-time purchase. HangShock, Tape Ledger, Twin Convert, and Tabletop Rig have no ads. We do not request App Tracking Transparency in those apps.
Which languages are supported in the apps?: This website is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, and Italian. In-app languages vary by product — Brick Calculator Plus supports English, German, French, Spanish, and Dutch (matching the device language).
How do I request a feature or report a bug?: Email us at about@prd.it.com or use the per-app support page. Include your iOS version and app version from Settings.
Is my health data collected?: WellWash does not collect health data. HangShock can optionally save a completed session to Apple Health on your device as a strength workout; we do not upload Health data to our servers. Timer sessions stay on the device.

Does Brick Calculator Plus support metric and imperial units?: Yes. Switch between mm/cm/m and inches/feet in Settings. Calculations update instantly.
Can I save multiple wall projects?: Yes. Create named projects with dimensions, brick type, and mortar mix. All stored locally.
How accurate are mortar estimates?: Estimates use industry-standard allowances for joints and waste. Always verify on site before ordering materials.

Can Coffee Brew Pro calculate water from coffee weight?: Yes. Switch to reverse mode: enter coffee grams and ratio to get water volume.
Which brew methods are included?: V60, Chemex, French Press, AeroPress, and Espresso, plus custom ratios. Curated presets follow common specialty guidelines.
Can I save recipes and remove ads?: Yes. Save recipes offline (free tier: a few user saves; presets are free). Optional one-time Pro unlocks unlimited saves and removes ads.

Does WellWash work in the background?: Yes. The timer continues with the screen locked via background audio, optional Live Activity on the Lock Screen, and local notifications at phase changes. Keep notifications enabled for the best experience.
Can I customize hot/cold durations?: Yes. Use Create Your Own to add hot and cold phases and set each duration. Built-in protocols (Wim Hof, Recovery, and more) are free. An optional one-time Pro unlock allows unlimited custom protocols and removes ads.
Is contrast shower safe for everyone?: Consult your doctor before contrast therapy, especially with cardiovascular conditions. This app is a timer tool, not medical advice.

Is FieldStart an ENERGY STAR or OEM certification?: No. FieldStart is a field worksheet. It records readings, photos, and signatures you enter and exports a PDF. It does not certify charge, warranty, or ENERGY STAR compliance.
Does it work without internet or an account?: Yes. Jobs, photos, and PDFs stay on the device. No login. Preview PDF is always free; the first share is free, then Unlock Pro for unlimited branded PDFs.
iPhone or iPad?: Both. The commissioning form is designed for iPad in the mechanical room, with a one-handed iPhone layout as fallback.

Do I need Apple Watch to use HangShock?: The Watch is the product: start Repeaters, Max Hang, 7-53, or Density from your wrist with hang/rest haptics. The iPhone app runs the same protocols if you do not have a Watch.
Are there ads or a paywall?: No. Version 1.0 has no ads, no account, and no in-app purchase. Sessions stay on the device.
Is hangboard training safe?: Finger tendons are not gym muscle. Stop immediately if you feel tendon or joint pain. HangShock is a timer, not coaching or medical advice.

Does Tape Ledger need an account?: No. Jobs, labels, and tape lines stay on this device. There are no ads.
What does the unlock include?: Free keeps 20 tape lines and one job. The one-time unlock adds unlimited lines, extra jobs, and CSV export. Labels work without purchase.
How does iPhone Duo layout work?: On the inner display the tape and keypad sit side by side. On a compact display the keypad stays in front and Tape opens from the toolbar. Folding only adds a light haptic — it does not move the layout.

Does Twin Convert work offline?: Yes. Length, mass, volume, temperature, and a cached currency table work without a network. Settings → Refresh updates currency rates when you have a connection.
What does the unlock include?: Conversion is free. Unlock once for more than four favorite pairs and a 90-day currency chart. The free chart shows 30 days.
Are there ads?: No. Events stay on the device. No account.

Does Tabletop Rig record video?: The front camera preview is always available for rehearsal. Saving a movie file, markers, and extra scripts require Pro (monthly, yearly, or lifetime).
Why does it ask for the microphone?: Pro recordings include microphone audio with the take. Rehearsal scroll does not record.
How do subscriptions work?: Monthly and yearly renew unless you cancel in Apple ID settings. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Privacy Policy and Apple’s standard EULA are linked on the paywall.
