Introduction
REFApps ("we", "us") operates HangShock (com.appstore.hangshock). This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
We do not require accounts. Custom hangboard protocols and settings stay on your device. HangShock does not include ads, analytics SDKs, or in-app purchases in version 1.0. If you allow Apple Health, a completed session may be saved on-device as a strength workout; we do not upload Health data to our servers.
Apple Health and HealthKit
HangShock uses Apple’s HealthKit framework so an optional indoor strength workout on Apple Watch can keep hang and rest haptics firing in the background. If you allow it, a completed hangboard session may be saved to Apple Health on your device as a functional strength training workout. We do not read heart rate, medical records, or workouts from other apps. We do not upload HealthKit data to our servers, and we do not share it with advertisers or other third parties. You can decline the Health permission, turn off Save to Health in HangShock Settings, or delete the workout in Apple’s Health app. The timer works fully if you decline HealthKit.
Analytics
HangShock 1.0 does not include Firebase or other analytics SDKs.
Advertising
HangShock 1.0 does not show ads and does not include an in-app purchase. We do not request the App Tracking Transparency identifier.
In-app purchases
HangShock 1.0 has no in-app purchases. Apple StoreKit is not used.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data retention & deletion
Local app data is deleted when you uninstall the app. For analytics data, contact us to request deletion where applicable.
